Summary
Two go over the ledge
One reaches
One plummets
A winner and a loser
A hand outstretched never clasped
Both scorched by the same sun
Littered with burns still stinging
But one an Icarus never granted wings
All that remains is the grave and haunted face
All he can do is atone, forever alone
How can he right his wrongs
What does it mean to be a Hero?(It's a dead deku au where Bakugou goes a little schizo. But in the process he learns how to be a better person, just slowly. Midoriya also sticks around as a prickly pear that haunts Bakugou.)

Summary
His other eye held a sense of familiarity to Mike. The color a soft green. He looked at his nose, at his mouth, at the mole over it.
Wait.
...What?
He looked back up into his eyes. The same eyes he had looked into on their last day together.
His stomach dropped. He was going to be sick.
He traced his face yet again as his mind simultaneously remembered every picture of Will.
Pictures Mike had been studying meticulously ever since he died.
That’s right, Will died.
Will is dead.
He's supposed to be dead.
He kept repeating the sentiment in his head, but it didn't matter. All the details matched. Sure, his features had become older, but it was still him. It was still-
"...Will?" Mike whispered, terrified the sound of his voice would somehow make him disappear, make this not real. Instead, it appeared as if Mike speaking awoke something in Will as Will’s emotionless eyes suddenly shot up along with the shotgun flying back up into his hands, shooting right past Mikes head, straight through the tree he was still leaned against.
Or: A Will Byers was never found AU, until he was

Summary
In the summer of 1979, Charlie Campbell hears that their independent school district is being shut down for mismanagement of funds.
Go figure, she thinks.
It’s not a surprise that the funds had been being mismanaged. As an attorney, and the wife of a fellow lawyer, she’d already known that the money was being handled wrong. Cynical though it was, she just hadn’t really expected anyone to do something about it.
Her only daughter is going to twelfth grade next school year, and she has relatives in Little Rock. She can’t help but think it’s not a very good time for a Lost Year of their own.
Reading further in the newspaper, she sees that the city is taking over, and that the white and Black schools will be combined.
God help us, she thinks.
Reading further in the article, she sees that Title IX will be enforced at the new “C. M. Rutherford High School”.
Well. This might be something.
“Jaila,” she murmurs, and then raises her voice. “Jaila!”
“Coming, Mama!” carries back, along with footsteps.
