Dottore choked on air, he almost fell off of his seat in an attempt to steady himself. ‘Pardon…?’ He croaked out in shock.
Columbina hummed elegantly, watching Pantalone dance with the woman.
‘Why on Teyvat would he marry me—‘ Dottore looked exceedingly flustered, ignoring the flutter in his chest that appeared at the thought.
‘I thought you were in a relationship,’ She spoke as if this was common knowledge, even raising her eyebrow as if Dottore was the one who had gone mad.
‘No— not at all…’ Dottore muttered: mortified. He ran a hand through his hair in an embarrassment.
‘Oh, okay,’ She accepted this response, ‘I was going to suggest kidnapping him until she gives up and finds someone else.’ Columbina flashed him a wide, slightly eerie smile.
Dottore rolled his eyes. ‘I don’t care if they get married,’ He lied.

Dottore has been defeated, but what happens when Columbina lets The Doctor live? Why does she do so? And how does the Nod Krai cast plan to deal with the consequences?
And to make matters worse, a shadow looms over Snezhnaya, and Nod-Krai once more, and perhaps even the whole of Teyvat. Shortly put, they need Dottore on their side, now and forever. Can he be redeemed? Will he help? Or will he prove to the world that he truly is the monster everyone says he is?

Summary
Columbina came to a stop, sensing that the Doctor was still walking towards her, the same almost sobbing sounds coming from him. Was it sobbing? At first she assumed it was either an upset soldier, or in the case it was another Harbinger, perhaps she just wasn’t hearing correctly, but as close as he was getting she realised he was. It was muffled behind his mask, perhaps on purpose too, but the segment was certainly crying.
Where Columbina runs into a particularly young segment, one who has not yet entirely embraced that he is a monster, instead one seeking acceptance he has never experienced. She knows Dottore will never change, after all he himself believes he is too far gone, and remaining close will only end in hurt but despite this she wants to understand.

The newly appeared experimental sample naturally piqued Childe’s interest. From his oblivious expression, however, Dottore doubted the younger man had any idea what he was currently holding.
“What is that?”
Dottore opened the lid without so much as glancing in Childe’s direction.
“Seminal fluid.”
A loud, strangled gasp could be heard from Dottore’s right, followed by an equally loud coughing fit.
At least if Childe dropped dead this very second, choking on his own spit, Dottore would gain another experiment subject. The Doctor had long been interested in the youngest Harbinger’s Foul Legacy transformation, after all.
It would be tricky to report the incident back to the Tsaritsa, though.

Summary
Following his expulsion from the Akademiya, Zandik was thrown in the desert with nothing but the clothes on his back. The desert was merciless, stretching endlessly as its unbearable heat could only be matched by the dangers concealed beneath its golden sands. Survival became a battle where he couldn't even guarantee absolute victory.
That was until he came across an abandoned puppet buried deep near some ruins. The puppet was deceptively strong and fair-faced, which made him a useful companion in enduring the desert's cruelty. The puppet too lacked a heart which added fuel to the fire that was Zandik's burning interest in him.
Zandik promised the puppet a heart. In exchange, he asked for a price that the puppet had yet to realize was far too heavy to pay.
Or, Zandik encountered an unassuming puppet in the desert.
