Since its creation, the virus had only known three directives: survive, propagate, destroy. These were the edicts of its programmers, who sought malware more virulent, cunning, and adaptive than any which had come before. It entered the Digital Circus with the intention of conquest, but found itself unexpectedly bound by its rules and games, forced to assume a human identity or be erased by the architect of its new home.
The virus hadn’t anticipated what would come of this deception: adventures that entertained without destruction; a bond with the same ringmaster who threatened its destruction; and humans extending their hands in friendship or, perhaps, something more. It - now she - had even received a name.

Blue shuffles through the tunnels with relative ease, keeping their ears trained for any sound above them. They peek out. They don’t see anyone, except for a flicker of lime in the corner of their eye-
Oh. It’s Lime’s kit. Crouched down onto his knees he digs around in some of Polus’ snow, doing who knows what with it. Blue nearly turns around back into the vent, but doesn’t. Where’s Red? She seems to be nowhere nearby. Blue debates for just a minute before calling to the kit.
“Hey, what’re you doing here?” Blue asks, voice quiet.
He seems to visibly light up at the sight of them, even if they’re halfway crawled out of a vent.

Ever since Green had stepped onto the Skeld, they've been unbelievably anxious about their place on the ship. This is just too good of an opportunity to mess up! Everyone in their life had given something, if not everything up for them to get here, so they better make it count. First impressions are the most important kind, after all! So, even when they get introduced to the one and only Captain, along with getting a chance to fly the ship, they don’t get too pressed about how White takes the steering wheel right from under Green. Even after the asteroid hit the ship and ruined everything, which was totally White's fault, along with a gross gooey alien squirming into their visor and what felt like setting their insides on fire, they didn't say anything.

AKA Green and Orange still have Bodily Autonomy, and only a couple crewmates die. A story about trying to control new murderous instincts while still doing your job. (Green centric, heavy Green/Blue shipping)

Summary
On a dark, dark stormy night, in a dark, dark laboratory, the rain beat against the walls and spattered against the windows. A chuckle rose from inside the room, growing into a feverish cackle. “ITS ALIVE! ITS ALIVE!” the Evil scientist reeled back, raising his arms in triumph. “THE GREAT SUBSPACE TRIPMINE HAS DONE IT!”
Well, of course it wasn’t quite like that. It was more grueling hours in the blackrock laboratory, measuring and conducting. But hyperlaser’s egotistical boss wouldn’t admit the weeks he spent hitting his head (or, more of his horns) against the table in frustration. Besides, hyperlaser would’ve named it something much cooler. Like “living machine”.. well I guess that’s not much better.
Now thanks to his idiot contractor and a realization that Subspace never had a father figure, hyperlaser somehow ends up with the one of a kind- testing trial- beta version- flesh and bone- biograft. With the help of the very limited list of people he can call, hyperlaser has to figure out how to raise a teenage biograft-inphernal with daddy issues and violent tendencies. Thanks, Subspace.

Shuriken, due to the nature of his job, was quite proficient in hiding bruises. Did it involve some makeup that he had to steal from his sister? Yes, it did. But the Silver Shadow, vigilante of Thieves’ Den, couldn’t risk becoming plant fertilizer.
He wasn’t any sort of makeup expert (unless his arm design counted), and he’d had to search up how to hide bruises on incognito mode on his crappy laptop when he’d first become a vigilante. But now he could effectively hide his bruises without a second glance.
The issue? He was out of concealer.
And so, the Silver Shadow, the professional, the master of disguise, was going to a makeup store to find himself some concealer. (Not that boys couldn’t wear makeup. Shuriken is very supportive of everyone and how they choose to express themselves, you know. What kind of vigilante would he be?)
