Summary
Clive is twenty-three years old. He's at rock bottom,homeless, jobless, penniless, hated by pretty much everyone and exiled from everything he ever knew, left to the mercy of a world he knows very little about. And then things get inexplicably worse. Cid finds Clive in a bad state, and offers him sanctuary.
This story is a tale of trauma and recovery, love and family, destruction and salvation.

When Waloed sends a trade delegation to Rosaria, Clive has a plan. Meeting the actual person will dissolve his embarrassing crush. That's how these things work. Reality arrives, the idea collapses, problem solved. Easy.

The problem is that Cidolfus Telamon, in person, is not smaller than the version in Clive's head.
