Summary
Coming back to it, he rises to his feet looking around into the darkness of the woods. He can feel him. In the corners of his mind he hears him speak.
“See you soon, William.”
It’s not a warning. It’s a promise.
Will hears a drowned out murmur coming from behind him. A hand on his shoulder startles him back into focus. He snaps around. Mikes stood there, concern written over his face.
“Will, a-are you okay?”
When Will doesn’t answer, Mike looks over to Lucas, he’s talking about something but Will can’t quite make out what. Mike looks back at Will, giving his shoulders a small shake.
“Will?”
Will meets Mike's eyes.
“Will?” Mike asks again.
Taking a deep breath. Will answers.
“He’s back.”

Summary
November 10th, 1983. Will has been surviving in this nightmare-reflection of his town for 4 days now.
On his fifth day he runs into the creepy lab at the edge of Hawkins, searching for sanctuary from the monster that's chasing him, when he comes across a strange man in a hazmat suit. Will isn't sure who he is, or what he wants, and he hides from him. Until he notices the harness the man is wearing, a harness with a rope attached to it that undoubtedly lead to somewhere safe. A gate. A way home.
