“Get off me,” Mira snarled, elbowing Abby squarely in the throat. Notably, he was not in the slightest bit crumpling in agonized pain at having invoked her hunterly wrath. Rather, he looked mildly startled, then flattered, the big idiot.

In which some family members show up, Abby has a hero complex, Mira is extremely frustrated, Romance is off his game, and Baby's features have matured enough that they have to start calling him B. (Because, you really can't ship a character whose face hasn't fully matured yet, amiright?)
(This is part 2 of my shameless shipping fun, and it will make more sense if you've read Part 1. I just couldn't sit back and let Jinu and Mystery be the only lucky ones. Part 2 is complete, and so is Part 3. By the end of it, everyone will be taken care of, and I'll feel much better. lol.)

It was supposed to be one fic just for Mystery, but I got carried away and now it's a three fic series. The first two are already written, each around 12 chapters. Part 1 is Zoestery with a dusting of Jinu/Rumi. Part 2 and 3 I probably shouldn't spoil but I did have to write some OCs. (It's not fair, there just aren't enough female characters in the movie to go around!)

It had seemed so promising, too, the way the mudang described all of Rumi’s symptoms – that restless feeling, like there was something she needed to do or somewhere she needed to go, her waking up crying from whatever dreams she kept having that she could not remember, and the lethargy and the feeling of lacking something. Yearning for something that she just couldn’t put her finger on.
“You need to find the man,” the mudang said. “Find him, and soon everything will return to you. You’re suffering because you couldn’t let him go.”
Rumi asked if maybe she meant her dad, but the mudang had rattled her bells, and fanned with her fan, and shaken her head.
“No, no. This is a romantic partner. A man you were separated from. A handsome one.”
Which just couldn’t be because self-aware, nearly-ascetic, career-focused Rumi had never dated anyone – ever.Series

“Leave us.” Rumi says, in lieu of an acknowledgement. “All of you, leave us. I wish to speak with him alone.”
All of the demons in the room are quick to skitter away. They all know Rumi is much more powerful than them. None of them are willing to learn how merciful she is to those who wrong her.
Jinu supposes his fate will tell them as much.
(Or in a world in which Rumi embraces her demon side, kills Gwi-Ma, and gets stuck in the demon realm as their new ruler, Jinu has not gotten to make up for his betrayal and awaits their confrontation in a cell.
When he’s called to see her at last, he assumes the worst. After all, he had neither a good experience with people he’s betrayed or demonic rulers, why would this be different?)

Summary
The aftermath of the Idol Awards leaves Rumi exhausted, but her sorrow over losing Jinu is short-lived when she discovers not all of him is gone.
Rumi has many heart-to-hearts with her friends, gets her demon not-yet-boyfriend back, and starts discovering all the new powers she has due to being half demon and half hunter. But she’s not the only one changing.
Mira and Zoey get used to the new normal with a new Honmoon and what it all means for them as hunters, as well as the new face among them. Jinu seeks to redeem himself in their eyes but the weight of guilt due to his actions is not an easy hurdle to jump.
Their well deserved rest will not last forever. Between the demons stuck on this side of the Honmoon and those trapped on the other, including those Jinu cares about, they must decide what course of action they want to take and deal with whatever consequences it brings.
Gwi-Ma might’ve been banished to the other side of the new Honmoon but he is not one to go down quietly.
(Or in the aftermath of Gwi-Ma’s defeat, Rumi discovers that Jinu’s soul, albeit weak, is still sticking around. She keeps what remains of him safe, causing a ripple effect that will change things for the better.)

Meanwhile, Zoey keeps having a recurring nightmare of a reality of what hasn't happened... yet.
