Spider wanted a lot of things in his life. When he was very young he wanted to leave base and explore the forest whenever he pleased. He wanted to be able to breathe without the stupid mask, to be as strong and fast and capable as his friends. He wanted to feel safe in the forest, to feel like one of Eywa’s children. He wanted to learn to hunt, to make his own bow, to be acknowledged as being just as capable.
More than anything else in the world, Spider wanted to be loved.
A reimagining of Hanahaki, centered around Spider's emotional repression and desire for a family.
