Summary
The people around knew that they could come to him when they needed help. He's always there to offer support, normally in the form of materials. Whether it's weapons, food, money, tools, he provides. They aren’t sure how he gets the stuff, and to be honest, they aren’t sure they really want to know. On the other hand, while he was a nice person, they also knew that you did not cross Forest.
Midoriya Izuku, aka Forest, was kicked out years ago and he made a life in the streets. He is doing well but he still dreams of being a hero. Specifically, of going to UA to become one and so he decides to pursue that goal.

Oww, Peter thought blandly as he shifted- no, scratch that, tried to shift- onto his back but quickly decided that wasn’t in his best interest. Voices, both his own and not, swam in his head like a wave beating against his forehead.
“They’re coming here because of me, right? Because I’m Peter Parker? So cast a new spell, make everyone forget who Peter Parker is. Make everyone forget me.”
“It wouldn’t be enough. Your very presence would destabilize this universe.”
Peter finally managed to roll himself over onto his back, ignoring the sharp pain that shot through his spine at the movement enough to sit up and look around. He was in an alley which thankfully held no occupants save himself and the trash littering the ground.
“But I can… I can send you away. To a place where there is no Peter Parker. No Spiderman.”

“…Make him pay.”
Steve stares back at him for a moment, his eyes flicking back and forth between Eddie’s, and then he’s stepping up close to him, and Eddie thinks for a second that he’s about to kiss him.
But he just presses two fingers into his chest, and Eddie forgets to breathe. Steve hesitates, his mouth opening with a soft breath, stammering, blinking hard in a way that means he’s trying not to cry.
“Come back to me.”

Summary
/ Eddie blinks rapidly. Tears gather in the corners of his eyes. His chest heaves in panting breaths. “Dustin,” he says, jagged as it leaves his mouth.
“Dustin’s safe.” Steve’s thumb swipes at his cheek, brushing away the tears as they start to fall. “You did what I explicitly told you not to do, but he’s safe.”
Eddie just stares, shiny eyes searching Steve’s face with pupils blown wide. Then he breaks out into a soft grin. It’s tender, almost shy.
Fuzzy static pinches at Steve’s chest. He swallows distractedly, unable to pull his gaze away from Eddie’s. “Just let me- let me finish patching you up, okay?” /
OR
Steve secretly harbors Eddie in his house while Eddie recovers. Unfortunately, battling blood poisoning and sepsis without antibiotics is not as easy as it seems - which is, granted, not that easy. And Steve, in the proper Harrington spirit, has decided to shoulder this burden all by himself.

"He tries to not think too hard about the way Eddie flirts with him, because it is flirting, but it’s also clear that this is simply the way Eddie interacts with people. It doesn’t mean anything. And even if it did, Steve wouldn’t care. Why would Steve care? He wouldn’t. He would have absolutely no reason to care. That little tingle of warmth and fluttery nerves that he feels is just how anyone reacts to flirting. It’s nice, getting that kind of attention. It doesn’t mean anything."
Or, the party defeats Vecna, Eddie lives, Max is fine, and Steve does his best to go back to life as usual, now with the addition of one Eddie Munson, who definitely flirts with him, but it also definitely, positively, for sure, doesn't mean anything. (Except that it means everything.)
