Three months after Eleven's death, Mike attempts suicide and Lucas stops him. Everyone has to deal with the consequences.

“I didn’t break the cup.” He said more intently, picturing the mug whole and unbroken, the radio station logo that was plastered on the side uncracked.
And as he willed it, it was.
He blinked and the glass was gone like it had never been there, and there was a whole coffee mug sitting on the table in front of him when he looked down. It was sitting on the table like it had never left, the wet pool of cold coffee from before was gone and in its place was a rich brown cup of coffee, steaming lightly in the nighttime chill.
“What the fuck?” Someone said, disbelief coloring their tone and all Mike could do was stare downwards, a fresh wave of blood leaking from his nose.
“I didn't break the cup.” He echoed himself emptily, words a tad disbelieving.
He looked up then, taking in the stunned and worried faces that were surrounding the table and by proxy, him.
He pressed his fingers to his nose, eyes slipping downwards to look at the wet red that stained his fingertips and looking back up.

Summary
“I’m really proud of you.” Mike blurted out, breaking the silence between them with a voice that was just a touch too loud; it startled Will, making him jump back before he relaxed. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to be that loud.”
“It’s okay.” Will reassured him, it wasn’t Mike’s fault that he jumped any time there were loud voices.
He thought about what Mike had just said; he could take a guess on what Mike was referring to—it wasn’t like it was rocket science. A giddy feeling rose up in him, one he did his best to squash down; he didn’t know why, but he liked the idea of Mike being proud of him; it felt like he did something right, which was probably stupid. “Proud of me?”
While in the Upside Down, on their climb up the Radio Tower to The Abyss, Mike and Will stop for a break and they have a very different conversation then the one in the show.

"I want you to play with me," he said to her, almost childlike, she hated not having the guts to hang up, he was just further creeping her out, "Don't you want to play with me Chrissy?"
Her jaw made an audible snap when she forced it closed after hearing her name come from the caller's mouth, she forced her gasp back down her throat, not wanting him to know just how scared she was that he knew her name.
Her breathing came out choppy as she hurried to the windows to peak out the curtains, she was positive he wasn't in her house, there's no way he could be, but she wasn't so positive that he wasn't outside her house. She didn't respond to him after hearing her name, he found amusement in that if his laugh was anything to go by.
"Peek-a-Boo, I see you Chrissy," he teased her with another laugh that made her flinch, "Can you see me?" He taunted.

Summary
Desperation sits heavy on Mike's tongue. The taste of it is metallic like blood and nails. Will looks at him, half sat up in bed with sleepily confused eyes. It was as if Mike was waking a child from a deep slumber. But as he sat on his knees, tears streaming down his face because of a dream he can only vaguely remember, he found his hand slowly moving towards Will's and gripping it tightly. The words came out of his mouth before he could stop them and when he watched Will's eyes widen at the words, Mike felt instant regret.
"Tell me I'm good."
Logline: When Mike wakes from another vecna-fueled nightmare, he desperately seeks comfort from Will. Will seems just as desperate to give it to him.
