It was Mira who finally decided that enough was enough. When Zoey's knot finally went down enough for the alpha to pull out, and Rumi stubbornly decided to shower alone instead of with her mates, the omega confronted Zoey.
"We need to talk about Rumi," she said, hands lathered in shampoo as she cleaned Zoey's hair.
Her girlfriend's tail, which was spraying water everywhere with each wag, suddenly stopped. "Er, what about her?"
"You know exactly what," Mira growled, pulling on Zoey's ear.
Zoey yelped. "Okay, okay! Warn a girl before you do that, jeez."
Mira rubbed at the base of the ear as an apology, and she felt Zoey lean into her touch. "So Rumi…" she trailed off, letting Zoey speak.
"Has some trouble finishing."
"I'd say a lot of trouble," Mira said, nudging Zoey under the water to rinse her hair and fur, "but I'm just the omega who begs to be knotted by her every time we have sex."

Summer at the cottage was supposed to be relaxing. It turns into everything but—when Ilya drops “I could marry Svetlana” for an american visa like it’s a grocery list item. Main series stories will be titled "Well That Just Won't Do - Book X" and will follow Harry's life from Halloween 1981 to Post-Second War. Companion pieces focused on other characters have short, concept-based titles like "Freedom and Recovery" and "Surviving".
