Will hasn't told anyone about the dreams.
Not Jonathan, not Joyce, and not even Mike, which is really saying something - considering how he used to spill his guts to Mike about the bone-chilling nightmares he used to have nearly every night - the ones that never failed to leave him jolted awake, breathless and dampened with a sheen of cold sweat. Keeping these dreams a secret from Mike almost felt like some sort of betrayal. Almost.
Because, these dreams are not nightmares. Naturally, that was the first thing Will noticed about them.
OR
Will finds out that his dreams are more than just dreams, and there's a certain pair of counterparts residing in an alternate world who are willing to help him out in a way that has only lived within the most forbidden corners of his mind. Oh, and Mike's there, too.

Eddie could see the layers and layers of tape he’d wrapped around the leg of Richie’s glasses over a month ago, shaped like a little cocoon. He reached out and touched it with the tip of his finger.
“These don’t even sit straight anymore,” he said. “Why are you still wearing them?”
Richie didn’t blink from behind the lenses until Eddie took his hand back.
“I don’t know. My life is kind of a mess right now. They feel appropriate.”
“Your life isn’t a mess, Rich.”
“It really, really is.” Richie straightened, started talking with his hands when he said, “Hey, shouldn’t you be shouting? I feel like this would be easier if you were shouting.”
“You said you’d take this seriously,” Eddie said.

"Every junior and senior at Hawkins High is in this book. I need you to go through the photos and find out which guys could be interested in Will."
El stared at him. "You want me to look into people's heads to find out if they are gay?"
His face lit up. "Yes! Exactly. I knew you'd understand."
"Mike. I can not do that." El frowned at him, looking genuinely let down.
Mike's smile dropped. "What? Why not?"
Determined that Will deserves someone who loves him, Mike enlists El to use her powers to scan the Hawkins High yearbook and identify every gay guy in school. She gives him three names. Mike gives himself a week to find Will the perfect boyfriend.

“Ah. That’s it, my friend. That’s it.”
“What’s it?” Will asks in confusion. He’s was, like, a prude, or anything, but openly talking about gay sex in great detail was absolutely unheard of in little home town Hawkins.
“You two both think that Mike should be the top,” Marius tells him, and Will slowly nods along. “Dunno why, he has crazy bottom energy. But maybe that’s just, like, stereotypes messing with your brains. He’s taller, yeah, but that doesn’t matter.”
Will blinked at him once, twice, his brain too long to process.
Marius claps him on the shoulder, a bright grin on his face. “Just top, dude,” He says, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. “That’ll probably help a ton.”
