Summary
Spawn of an Outer God or not, Lilith was greatly weakened by her ordeal in the Nightmare Realm. And after her father murdered her, there wasn't much of her (or her power) left. All it would take was time to heal, but during that time she would be vulnerable. Weakened. For a god, and one who lacked favour with other beings who could offer her shelter, let alone trust them not to consume her themselves, this was a dangerous thing to be.
There are those who would seize upon the weakness of a being of such power and consider themselves holy for it. Enemy or acolyte, they are all the same when a god shows its belly.
Arthur Lester was neither, but he has no reason to help Lilith. Not after what she's done to him. They parted ways understanding that, Lilith knows.
There is a dragon in a tower, in chains, in the dark. She is so so scared (she never has not been). She is guarded by brave knights. Can you save her without being eaten yourself?
