Summary
Once again, the star, planets, dwarf planets, and moons are summoned under an invitation to watch the next Earthling creation. This time, however, they are joined by an actual Earthling. And they are not so much 'watching' as they are 'listening'.
While the reluctant Astrodude is just trying to get through this new barrier standing between him and the end of his mission to go home to his wife and son, the rest of the Solar System is dealing with their own uncomfortable relations to the songs they are being presented with.
Set after the third in this series, 'Reacting to 'Deadliest Pattern in Nature'.

"Uhm..." Oh stars, did he forget something? He didn't have the greatest memory but... okay let's see. It's not her birthday, not their anniversary, not the friendship anniversary Makemake had declared they have- "...Erhm... is today important?" The dwarf planet ended up asking sheepishly, not wanting to to keep guessing.

But the tiredness was erased, replaced by... anger. "So tell me the truth for once." Triton almost pleaded as he turned, because please, please, he needed to know. He didn't fit in anywhere, not with the moons, not with the dwarf planets, not with Neptune and he didn't know why. "I brought all of your real moons back home to you, I deserve at least that."

"How did I get here? What happened?!"
"..."
"I..." Neptune's voice was small, smaller than Triton had ever heard it being. It caught him off guard, just for a moment, almost making him hopeful about receiving the answers he had been craving for. "I-I..."
His eyes glazed over, as usual- and yet, Neptune looked more coherent than he had ever done before.
"I... couldn't say." The planet ended up saying, oddly disconnected... and clearly lying again. "I... I must have forgotten."

The only one with the answers won't tell him why.

Summary
In the original timeline, Planet X won the battle of Planet X from winning both the trivia round and the game of asteroid dodgeball. However, his victory was spoiled when Proteus went up to him and ended their friendship. This would in turn cause Planet X to leave, reconcile with Jupiter, and head forth into the cosmos with Guillermo, and maybe having a role in the upcoming arcs. However, this would also result in Uranus trying to follow him, Jupiter returning to the Sun’s anger and eventually following Uranus, Earth following Jupiter for answers concerning “Theia”, and eventually leading all the Planets to the Kuiper Belt and beyond, causing the Sun to go mad, make the moons planets, and probably more chaos we haven't yet seen. But what if, he didn’t leave? What if, instead of leaving when Proteus ended his friendship, he, for one reason or another, chose to stay. Would Jupiter ever return? Would the Solar System grow more stable? Would all life on Earth die as the asteroid belt grows more and more unstable? I suppose, the best place to start is when it all began…

Everyone loves to say that all the crazy stuff started when Neptune asked “Why does Saturn have rings?” Although it’s fair to believe that, I don’t think we can really blame Neptune. He wasn’t trying to cause anything, was just curious. There was nothing malicious, but there was someone who did… Earth. When he met Titan, he got self-conscious, and said “Moons should know their place”, which would lead to Titan and co starting the moon revolution, moon club, system trials, Planet X, Theia, ect. But what if… he never said that? Would the tensions already around the moons still cause a revolution? Would Planet X ever return to the solar system? Would Earth face the memories of Proto and Theia? If so, how would they change? Here is my take.

Earth wasn't so sure if this idea he proposed was a good one anymore.
In hindsight, it had seemed like the perfect plan- Sun was angry and wanted everyone to remain in their orbits, but everyone else got too lonely, or bored, or was too far and started losing it. So Earth had suggested using one of the many brilliant inventions his beloved Earthlings had created to fight the boredom until Sun came back to his senses.
"Yes, we are a team indeed! So how about we stop shouting, Sun, and let Earth explain his funny rectangle device?"
"No, Saturn-" Earth groaned, rubbing two fingers between his eyes to fight the growing headache. "Not us, the app we're using is called Microsoft Teams. Its an app that lets you talk to people who are far away."

[I’m focusing on my Hunger Games fic, so sorry for fans of this fic! I might wrap it up later in 2026, but at least you could imagine what happens next! Again I’m so so so sorry, I hate abandoning fics :/)
This is a SolarBalls rewrite since I’ve been feeling like the writing quality of the show has downgraded ALOT. The work itself isn’t as SolarBalls related as I intended it to be, as it’s pretty much an original story based off SB. I’m trying to add more scientific accuracies, better characterization, and more factual characters/events.
Currently, I only plan on doing the Big Bang to present-day and a separate fic for the future of the Solar System (hasn’t been made yet, will probably be called The Mortality of Time???.
Not really gonna try doing story arcs based on specific characters since everyone deserves a chance to shine, not just X and Theia and Earth and Earth and Earth—
if anyone has any suggestions, I will consider them!)Series
