Ben gave her a small smile, and shrugged. “If you did,” he said, “it’d be true.”
The worst of the war is over. Rey refuses to rest long enough for overuse injuries to heal. Ben worries, and tries to find his place in the Resistance after the pain and death he caused. Finn and Poe have each other, and have very different perspectives on the former Kylo Ren.

‘On my back,’ Hux whispered. His voice sounded small, as if he expected condescending rejection. Whoever was responsible for the omega behaving so shamefacedly during a biological process inherent to his second gender deserved all the worst. His first, and as Hux had said, only heat so far also seemed to have played out completely differently than according to the rules Poe had learned.
‘Perfect choice,’ the alpha praised the other man who blushed beautifully. It was exciting to see the normally stiff and formal ex-general reacting this lovely to praise.
‘Lay down.’or: Hux went out of suppressants and Poe volunteered to see the omega through his heat.

Hux had been sick for a few days now. It was a persistent nausea that had him trapped in front of the toilet for up to half an hour at a time, throwing up almost every meal he managed to get down in the first place.
When Poe finally decided to grab Dr. Kalonia after another long session that left Hux retching and exhausted, the omega used the short-lived piece to remind himself of what got him into this whole mess in the first place.
