Stu. Alive. Real. Here. The sound punched through Billy’s ribs, stealing his breath.
Ten years of grief and lies crumbled into dust. "Stu!" Billy’s shout ripped through the gloom, raw and ragged. "Get over here! Now!" The command was pure instinct, laced with a decade of buried desperation. Footsteps shuffled hesitantly on concrete – slow, confused scrapes against the silence.
A stunned silence crackled. Then, Stu's breath hitched audibly. "...Billy?" The frantic anger vanished, replaced by pure, disbelieving shock. The name was a whisper, laden with decades of ghosts and impossible resurrection. "Billy... is that you?"
"Yeah, baby, it’s me" Billy rasped, the word scraping his throat raw. He squeezed his eyes shut, bracing against the tidal wave of memories – the knife, the screams, Stu's blood soaking into Sidney's carpet. "It's me."

Billy thought that Stu was dead all these years. He became a cop. Billy finds out Stu's alive. It's a race against time for their reunion after a new Ghostface emerges and wants to kill Stu.

What if Billy and Stu were there for the sequel? A classic revival of the killer.
Dying was meant to be the end, and both Billy and Stu were okay with that; in fact, they welcomed the void with open arms. So why they found themselves alive and awake two years after their Ghostface spree was beyond them. But they weren't going to let this opportunity pass them by, especially when they find someone else has taken up their mask.
But how will Billy be able to focus on revenge when old faces reveal themselves and he finds his relationship with Stu far more complicated than he was ever ready to accept?

This isn't meant to be an accurate representation of how this concept would work. It is very self-indulgent. It will somewhat follow the plot of Scream 2, but I will change it accordingly.

They’re not. Stu knows it. Billy knows it, but he’s so damn good at not acknowledging it that Stu almost has his doubts. Friends don’t do the shit that they do. Friends don’t shotgun in the basement. Friends don’t sleep shirtless holding each other in a twin sized bed.
Friends don’t kiss with blood in their teeth and leave bruises on each other’s hips because they don’t know how to hold on in a way that won’t leave marks.

“No,” Billy murmurs, so close to Stu that he can almost taste the grape soda he’d been drinking earlier. “Your hand’s fine.”

Precioso. Que lindo punto de vista de Billy, tan diferente pero tan parecido. Muy en el personaje, pero también fuera de él. Es perfecto. Sidney, de rostro dulce y corazón oscuro, siendo la que sostiene el cuchillo y apuñala esta vez. Stu, mi chico Stu, lindo como siempre, como un lindo cachorrito cuya correa está sostenida por un mejor dueño. Valió absolutamente la pena.

Billy Loomis is a color blind hobby artist who had been seeing the world in black and white for as long as he can remember. His works are always colorless and most of them feature a woman with no face, representing his mother who had left him. He sees no future for himself, he's passively suicidal, and he doesn't let anyone in. Why should he?
Stu Macher is a hobby photographer who is the complete opposite. He is full of color and life, showing Billy things he had never seen before. What Billy thinks is horrible, Stu turns it into something positive. He brings color into Billy's life, and teaches him that despite the pain and turmoil, color can show up in the least expected places.
