Summary
As he swiveled around the office in search of his personal belongings, Albert stalled in place. His desk was empty. His computer was gone. His name placard had fallen to the wayside on the floor where something had knocked it down. There were pens and his usual coffee mug scattered beneath the desk. The other seating chairs he kept in his office were also gone. Everything was covered in a thin layer of dust. The carpets looked grimy under foot as he stepped.
“What is going on?” He balked. Leaving his office didn't prove to secure any further answers. Half of the office appeared to be frozen in the middle of being packed up. Cardboard boxes littered one side where Enrico’s team were situated. A few of the desks were completely cleared off.
This felt far too unsettling to be real, but far too real to be a dream. Albert turned back towards the entrance to S.T.A.R.S. in an effort to get some answers. Perhaps Irons was involved in this in some manner.

'Another nosebleed.’ Zeno had felt the warm droplets gathering a split second before their fall. The crimson stains spread across the parchment he had been diligently filling out with the dark blue ballpoint pen he had procured from one of the receptionists earlier in the day after his previous pen ran short of ink. It was the third encounter today as he breathed deeply through his one good nostril with a deep sigh of resignation escaping him on the exhale. He reached for the handkerchief in his breast pocket, pointedly ignoring the gathering of scientists and security officers that had fallen suddenly silent in the middle of their report about releasing lickers into the city ruins to collect environmental combat data.
The scarlet color soaked into the clean and tidy fabric as Zeno pressed it against the left side of his nose. With his free hand, he reached for a clean new sheet to begin transcribing the entire meeting so far onto the new document. “You can stop staring at me.”
He didn't even need to look up to know there were numerous eyes pinning him in place.

Summary
It was a hot humid morning already despite the early hour. The Hound Wolf Squad loaded up their research vessel, the Blue Matilda, at the darkest hours before setting off just before dawn from the docks. The golden light of morning broke across the horizon reflecting off of the calm Indian sea. The weather was fair with a good forecast for the coming week. Night Howl was behind the wheel in the cabin monitoring their equipment as they made their way to Sempu Island.
Numerous sightings of a strange creature that is believed to be a mutation leftover from one of the Asia specific outbreaks had all centered around this region. The creature has been known to attack ships and has even been linked to the deaths of numerous shark fin poachers. Many drownings and sunken ships had been allegedly associated with the possible bioweapon, which gave the BSAA the authority to intervene on the situation.
Chris had stepped in with his team to intercept the case out of his own curiosity, and due to his involvement in the fall of Neo-Umbrella and the numerous C-virus outbreaks they caused across Asia. He felt partially responsible for this one should it be revealed the virus was involved. Another part of him was hopeful.

Summary
'Get away from me!’ He wanted to scream those words as numerous hands reached out for him. They grasped at his arms and tugged at the back of his jacket pulling him in different directions. He tried to speak but only blood dribbled past his lips in choking gasps. He shoved them away. ‘Don’t touch me!’
Somehow he was in a hallway. He didn't remember reaching a hallway. His feet kept moving even as his knees buckled to the ground. His blood stained fingers curled against the polished tile as he coughed. Blood splattered their pristine white shine. His head was pounding. He couldn't fill his lungs with air. Agonizing pain built up in one side of his chest while the other felt like it was being held in a vice that pressed harder and harder with each inhale. One palm steadied against the wall to help himself along. A crimson streak painted at the ends of his fingertips.
He didn't know where he was going but anywhere was better than here. Anywhere-
‘Chris-’ Would he be able to make it that far? Did he dare to enter the wasteland of the city in the vain hope that the wolves would come to his rescue? His feet kept moving in a direction.

Eivor pulled one of the heavy woollen drapes across over the archway, and the buzz of voices from the great hall softened. He sat down on the sea-chest against the inner wall, stretching his legs, and said "I thought you might prefer the quiet."
Hytham perched against the edge of the table, gazing into the middle distance, and said "The work of the Hidden Ones gives us enough quiet to drown in. Even when I hunt in a crowd, I am alone." He looked up at Eivor on the last few words, and a smile flashed briefly and entirely unexpectedly over his face. "It's good to have company."
