Summary
“Think before you act? As if, you put up walls to avoid anything unpredictable!” Shadow avoided what he was scared of. He avoided friendships, he avoided Sonic, he avoided platonic and romantic relationships like the plague. He avoided everything he couldn’t control with probability. “You’re like some pure at heart, wound up little virgin!” Shadow stared at him with wide eyes, clearly taken aback by Sonic’s words. Sonic's smile died down when he realized no one was talking anymore, the only sounds being the distant melody of music in the background. He may have had more drinks than he realized… or he was naturally a walking megaphone with how loud he was. Shit.

Summary
He wasn’t a guy who was so easily scared, much less of Shadow, but… Somehow, Sonic felt goosebumps trailing through his body, as if some instinctive part of him felt that something was wrong. His survival instincts screamed that he would have a better chance of staying safe on the raging storm outside than continuing inside, which was a ludicrous idea. Sonic knew Shadow wouldn’t hurt him (not much, at least), so why was he having such a dreadful feeling growing in the pit of his stomach?
Or
Shadow is missing, and Sonic is called into a mission to find and bring him back. Even with the lingering feeling that something is wrong, Sonic still agrees to help, but maybe he should've listened to his instincts this time.
