    Absolutely perfect time-travel fix-it story for the Untamed (follows the live action show rather than the novels), fits perfectly with the canon. This is now my headcannon sequel. The characters get the happy endings they get here, with everyone alive and well and everyone with their loved ones, and I refuse to imagine otherwise.

    Summary

    Stories of The House of Finwë, their followers, allies, descendants and friends, the Powers that shaped their lives, and their long fight against the dark.

    My eventual plan is that this series will contain all sorts from fluffy gen to smut, humour to horror, half-drabbles to multi-chapter sagas. I have too many ideas to say if or when it will be finished, and everything I write seems to sow the seeds for six more projects. Most individual stories in the series will work as standalones; where that's not the case, the summary or notes will say so.

    Wherever possible I've put things into chronological order; this isn't necessarily the order they were written in, but at least might help readers make sense of the timeline. Some fics, though, deal with events across several Ages, and I've unscientifically placed them wherever they seem to fit best.

    One of my favourite series.

    Extremely dark at times, but there also is a constant presence of the theme of rebellion, freedom, of being untamable, and of being oneself - maybe behind masks, but still knowing, accepting, owning it. So the darkness carried by the series is balanced by a very fierce unextinguishable defiant and proud light.
    Eventhough there are a lot of characters and some get less screen time than we might want them to, and new plots sprout forth enriching but also complicating the story, it is impossible not to develop an affectionate and passionate connection with most of the characters.

    I love this fanfic and cannot forget it, even if it is not complete.

    This is probably my favourite from Lumeriel (I love all of her Fëanor/Fingolfin fics), so I'm going to mark this one as part of my "I'm bookmarking the Silmarillion fics I loved and read several times, and that left a lasting mark on me, and that I'm fully expecting to want to come back to again" decision.
    I'll also mark The Prince and the Dragon. (The third fic from Lumeriel I would have liked to mark (Two Shores of A Lake I think it was called) is no longer available unfortunately)
