    The world has ended. The Kraang have decimated the planet, and only a few straggling survivors still cling to life. Among those few are Donatello and Casey Jones. Donatello figures that there's no point in trying to fix what's happened. But maybe he can prevent it from happening all together. So, he does what any normal turtle would do and builds a time machine to take him and Casey back in time and hopefully, from the shadows, they can save their past selves from following the same road to destruction. Maybe then, he can start to be forgiven for not seeing it coming.
    He didn't account for how hard it would be to stay away from the version of his family that's still alive and happy.
    Casey Jones just wants to protect the only person he still has left and possibly save the world while he's at it. Trying to find a purpose in a world that already has a Casey Jones and trying to find some small bits of a peace in a world on the highway to destruction.

    Neither one of them are very good at sticking to the plan, however, and soon enough, they'll have to contend with family dynamics, memories, and finding your place in a world with no need for extras.
