Muriel, with a little help from their friends, is doing the best job they can looking after Whickber Street for Aziraphale, Supreme Archangel of Heaven. He wants his dear diaries out of his supersecret drawer, but can't pick them up right away, and tells them they can read while waiting for him. They're crying over Wee Morag when Crowley drops in, and something about the dear diaries upsets him.
Muriel just wants to understand.

Who, in the Fell family - patriarch Michael (a long time dying), hearty Gabriel, regal Michaela, eccentric Aziraphale - or those around them - Michaela's personal secretary Uriel Ligur, cousin Sandalphon, Aziraphale's boon companion Anthony J Crowley, solicitor at Prince and Prince - could possibly have a reason to kill the baby of the family, Raziel Joshua Fell?
Is the Prince Foundation a useful charity, or something more sinister? How far into the book will Miss Silver finally make her appearance? And what has the unique family legacy, The Book of the Angel Aziraphale, got to do with anything?

Summary
This is more of a thought experiment with a few scenes than a story.
The reason so many varieties of people can feel represented by Aziraphale and Crowley is also the reason they cannot, ultimately, represent any specific class of people. They aren't human. They have different choices and imperatives than the ones that we are used to; and the purely cultural assumptions we make do not bias them. So - if they choose to experience humanlike sexual expression (as they canonically choose other human appetites), what guides those choices, in the absence of the defaults we take for granted? What are the limitations on choice?

Dr. Gurathin takes an old-fashioned approach to discouraging Murderbot's ongoing attempts to surveil his private residence on Preservation Station. Murderbot handles the situation with grace and dignity:
During previous incidents, Dr. Gurathin had messaged me over the feed with his objections, asking that I retrieve the identified drone and not use it to re-infiltrate his personal living space. Luckily, Mensah had bought me two cases of drones, so I was able to use a different one for each new infiltration, adhering to his request.
This time, he had unexpectedly dropped a container of hot liquid over the drone. It was still functional (a drone that couldn’t handle water would be useless for planetside deployments) but the audio was muted and its visual inputs were restricted to the interior of a First Landing University mug. I could probably push the mug off the furniture surface using the drone’s propulsion system, but I was getting a 99.2% risk assessment that this action would cause mug to break. That had an 84.6% chance of turning this incident from a minor annoyance into a Big Fucking Deal involving meetings and consensus and talking about this, ugh.
