Summary
In late January, 1984, Robin saw Steve Harrington stand stock still in the middle of the sidewalk, staring at a house with twinkling Christmas lights. She thought it was weird, but wasn’t going to comment and was about to walk around him when she realized his hands were shaking and repeatedly clenching and unclenching. And, because Robin could never leave well enough alone, she placed a hand on his shoulder.
Or, Robin and Steve meet post season 1 and begin their friendship early, despite Robin's confusion at how exactly it happened.

Summary
In what can only be described as a clinically inadvisable act of literary devotion, I’ve written 31 Supercorp one-shots, each based solely on the bridge of a different track from Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology. It is essentially a coping mechanism with a word count (223,000) ‘cause if I don’t transmute obsessive thought into narrative structure, I begin to fray at a molecular level.
The focus on the bridges is because that's where people tend to say what they mean. Also because I have a well-documented allergy to emotional stability and a pendant for yearning. I like to think this is what happens when you intellectualise heartbreak until it metastasises into plot.
My personal favourites (in no particular order) are the following:
- Tortured Things (Based on The Tortured Poets Department)
- The Flocking Pattern (Based on So Long, London)
- Hey Darling (Based on Fresh Out The Slammer)
- The Theory Of Almost (Based on Guilty As Sin?)
- Loss (Love) (Based on loml)
- Obsolescence (Based on Clara Bow)
- Hell Is A Pub in Vauxhall (Based on The Black Dog)
- Soft Light (Based on So High School)
- Quiet (Based on The Bolter)- Words:

Summary
The girl was thirteen. Prim’s age. Dessy Hollsworth, a short, scrawny little thing. The Hollsworth’s weren’t from the Seam and they’d kept out of the mines, but they were a family of clothes makers and menders with a bad habit of procreation. With six kids (not to mention a seventh on the way), Dessy was the first to reach Reaping age and Katniss had to imagine she’d taken tesserae.
The girl tried very hard not to cry as she walked on stage and mostly did a poor job of it.
The boy was seventeen, which was slightly easier to watch, except that made him the same age as Katniss. She knew him. From classes, back when she attended those. Bren Fox. He was a Seam kid. A son of a miner who was the son of a miner who would one day have a kid who was the son of a miner.
Well, not anymore.
--
Katniss and Peeta win the 73rd Hunger Games. It doesn't change much. The rebels still have their plans for the Quarter Quell. But for one year, Katniss and Peeta are neither tributes nor rebels. They're mentors.Bookmarked by RaiseYourHandIfYoureAPotato
