Summary
Bruce can’t remember the real reason why he decided to come here. The loud bass in his ears, the strobe lights blinding him as he attempts to navigate through the darkened club. It’s a gamble, going to some random club instead of the Iceberg Lounge. But, he doesn’t know what he’d do if he saw Falcone or Cobblepot there.
He's only grateful to have found him when he did.
(In other words, Bruce is a slut and gets railed by a 'stranger' before having a crisis.)

“Fullmetal, it is called pioneer for a reason.” Mustang sat behind his desk in his new office, gloved hands rubbing his temple. “Amestris has fallen behind the world so far that we need to scramble forward to catch up. We’ve no idea what we’re dealing with. It is your job to find out anything important that we need to know.”
Ed stared at his superior officer for a few seconds before he shrugged. “Okay, so no guidelines. No directions. Nothing. I can do whatever the hell I want.”
And to Ed’s shock Mustang just nodded.
