Rose saw the worry that must’ve been all over her face and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. “Alright, Chris, here’s what you’re gon’ do.” She pointed at the booth by the window. “You’re gon’ saunter yourself up to those boys, and they’re gonna order pancake puppies with extra strawberries. And they’re gon’ tip real well.”

Summary
When he moved, she snapped the picture before she processed what she was seeing. A body, definitely dead based on the awful shape it was in, bedecked in red, green, and yellow. Her stomach sank as Batman let out an awful cry that she could hear from all the way across the street. Snap! (The photo would not have that sound in it; Vicki would remember it though.)
Batman pulled Robin – Robin’s body – into a hug, burying his face in the boy’s hair. Snap!
Vicki took the pictures because it was all she could do. It felt like a step beyond invasive. Those pictures would probably make her career.

Summary
Fics for the No True Pair challenge on Dreamwidth. A list of characters was made before the prompts were revealed, pairing up the characters at random with fun prompts. I won't be doing every one for the month, but I plan to do a couple fun ones!

"C'mon, Bruce." He pleaded. "Talk. Don't turn your back on me. I'm here, now." A little voice in the back of his head hissed I was always here if you'd wanted me, but it was like I didn't even exist anymore once Jason was here.
"You were lucky." Bruce said lowly, almost to himself, without looking back at him. Dick blinked in confusion, and was seconds from asking him what he was talking about when Bruce started removing the cowl.
"When you didn't listen to me, your injuries weren't fatal."
