As the elderly woman pressed through the carnage, legs wobbling over the ridges of spines and teetering upon fallen shields, her cane found the shattered bone shining from a man’s arm and snapped through it with a crack. The noise echoed loudly, lingering like stagnant water in the familiar, cloying quiet that soaked into once-fertile soils after bountiful battles.
A blind woman lost in a battlefield.

Summary

The night they stumbled upon a hamlet in a small country, they forgot why they always moved on. They settled down, prepared to join L'Manberg's fight for freedom.
It took them very little time to remember why they did not stay in the towns they passed by. The white eyes of death did not bring peace with them.

Summary
Leaving Enies Lobby and Water 7 in the distant, Nico Robin can finally start living. The only small hiccup is that she has no idea how to. She knows she should be happy, that she's free now. But after thinking she wouldn't even make it past her twenty-eighth birthday, all of this new found freedom and possibility is starting to feel more suffocating than liberating.
Franky feels amazing! He's got a new lease on life, a chance to fulfill his dreams and nothing but adventure and good times ahead. And he's totally made peace with his past, he had his big emotional catharsis and everything, he's all good now. Super good. His crushing guilt is no more. Now if he could just figure out how to focus on anything for two seconds, he'd be perfect.
OR in which Nico Robin and Franky sort through their trauma and slowly fall in love in the process.

Summary
“Red-Hair” Shanks truly thought that nothing in the world at this point could surprise him. Given the circumstances of his entire life; being found by the Pirate King as an infant, growing up as a cabin boy alongside another boy who would go on to eat a devil fruit and gain the powers of the Bara Bara No Mi and then eventually founding his own crew. Of course, soon after sailing the seas with his nakama, it would lead to him in due course becoming one of the Four Emperors of the Sea.
However, from the ocean waves in the far distance, watching a lone polar bear Mink dressed in an orange jumpsuit and swimming towards him while carrying a half-dead Supernova, was something that even Shanks found himself gawking at.
After the intense battle between Blackbeard and the Heart Pirates, Bepo is forced to take refuge with the Red Hair Pirates while his captain recovers from his injuries. However, they're not out of the woods yet and more threats begin to loom over their heads... Some much more closer to home than others.
