He’d have to. For Damian. For his little goddamn brother.
Tim and Damian, despite their contentious and tenuous history, have reached an understanding. They are brothers, whether they like it or not.
Not long after (not enough time, never enough time), Damian is stolen from Gotham, plucked right out of Tim’s grasp like that wasn’t his little brother. Like they hadn’t just started getting along.
So Tim will steal him back. Even if it means he has to work for the man (the monster, the Demon) who stole his brother’s face.

Summary
The earthquake that hit Gotham did more than practically destroy it. It managed to rip it down to the bedrock and drag it and much of the surrounding area out to sea. With the sudden distance, chaos, and desperation hitting the city, Drake Industries stepped in with a revolutionary new device to ensure the public safety: collars that could assist in the supervision of convicted criminals. Wayne Enterprises, with Bruce Wayne at the helm, took these collars and championed a new form of punishment: the creation of the Collared caste, criminals who have been outfitted with these collars and whose sentences are purchased by those with the money to do so. In this darker Gotham, Jason arrived, tried to enact his revenge, and ultimately failed. With his failure, he was Collared, his sentence purchased almost immediately, and he was prepared as a birthday present for one of Gotham's princes.

It was a normal enough night. Nothing was out of the ordinary during patrol and no major rogues had been spotted. Everyone was home and at ease. It was quiet, pleasant and calm.
So no one had given a second thought when Bruce disappeared into the medbay, muttering about getting an aspirin for a headache. That was the first sign.
He was in his Batman suit despite the fact that they had already changed half an hour ago. That was the second sign that they all missed.
Tim should have known something was up. Then maybe, what happened next could have been avoided.

It is a cautionary clause for your son so that in the case that something were to happen that there is an adult available to make decisions on Mr.Drake’s behalf. In the case that neither parent can be reached, or another guardian, Mr.Wayne is able to step in and fill that role.”
The names Jack Drake and Janet Drake are signed in a neat cursive over the signature boxes and sent back to Bruce’s email.

Dick is struggling with the after math of Tim’s attack. It’s plunging his thoughts back to the darkness that surrounds his own. The hands and lips that ghost his skin, making the hair on his arms stand him.
It makes him sick that he’s as triggered as he is. It’s not even fair to Tim for him to feel like this. He doesn’t want to make Tim’s recovery feel like it’s about him. It isn’t. He needs to stop thinking so much and just focus on Tim. It isn’t fair not to.

Or Dick tries so hard to be a good brother while Tim’s recovering. He tries too ignore his own trigger’s because none of Tim’s recovery should be about him. He comes to terms about what happened to him and his brothers try to help him.
