This story is about Arthur Thornwind, the Bhaalspawn of Baldur's Gate 2 and a high harper. He is over 400-500 years old. He is married to Jaheira and his best friend is Minsc. The story takes place in Baldur's Gate 3. After the events of of Baldur's gate 2. He went out to destroy the other bhaal cults, till one of his men betrayed him. Causing him to be taken control by his father Bhaal, he killed his crew, then begin to lead Bhaal cult. For the next 100 or so years, he was under Bhaal control. Unable to control his body, but force to watch. He basically done almost everything the dark urge has done in Baldur's Gate 3. He also remembers everything he was forced to do unlike the dark urge. Now he is free, and is trying to make amends for what he did and stop the absolute that he help create. He also looking for his wife, who he hasn't seen in 100 or more years. As well get back to his home Baldur's Gate.

They decide to settle into domestic life as retired heroes. The pair quickly became a quartet with twin boys. The twins were approaching their second birthday, when in her pursuit to find a spell to preserve her life as long as her love’s, she created a spell that sent her back in time.
She knows the meadow she crashes through time to find, but where her home and her family grew in the present, now was a smoking battlefield in the past. Harpers and Druids fight side by side against Dark Justiciars. A younger elf pulls her to safety in the trees. Her husband stands before her, and he questions her. She realizes she can save him from the hundred years of sorrow if she stops the shadow curse from taking hold of the land. She decides to change the past despite the gamble of their future.
