“Why would I do such a thing?” the scorpion scoffed. “If I stung you, we would both drown.”
The turtle was reassured, and she allowed the scorpion to climb upon his shell.
When they were midway across the river, the scorpion stung the turtle, but the turtle’s shell was thick, and the stinger could not get through.
The turtle was deeply troubled.
“Why did you do that?” she demanded.
The scorpion sighed, “It was not out of malice or ingratitude, my friend. It was an irresistible and indiscriminate urge to sting. It is in my nature."

“Hi,” Ryan said with his heartwarming smile, making Cat’s smile grow wider as she started to punch in the prices on the cash register.
“These two are here almost every Saturday,” Rey told Cat.
“So I guess I’ll see a lot more of you over the summer then,” Cat said hopefully as she finished on the cash register and looked back up at the boys. “Your total is nineteen dollars and twenty three cents.”

He stumbles upon a new customer, Sirius Black who he had seen a few times before browsing the shop and falls instantly for him.
This is an AU where Sirius went to Beauxbatons instead of Hogwarts, set in 1982-1983. I wanted to play with the idea of Remus owning a shop but not another non-magic AU and a sort of meet cute wolfstar, hence the birth of this idea. The marauders are still four people, Lily taking Sirius' spot.
This is technically my first draft, i will be rewriting this when it's done and revising. I'm going to keep up this version when the revised version is done just incase. anyway, happy reading!!
