Summary
He wasn’t a big fan of servers. Mog always found being away from his superflat difficult. It was just easier to exist there. Like the air was clearer and only there he could take a real deep breath. Like anywhere else, he would choke on the invisible smoke of homesickness. There was sticky, almost sour tension in his bones that he couldn’t do anything to deal with. Mog felt dizzy. Very dizzy.
(Mog never dealt well with being away from home. He never thought to think of why that might be, though.)

He wanted to pace. Stretch his legs a bit, use up the anxious energy bubbling up just beneath his cold skin.
He didn’t. Instead, he sat in the corner next to the door, hugging the wall and hoping enough of his body fit into the small blind spot of the cell’s window to hide him from any eyes that could try and look for him in the most unlikely of places.
(It wasn’t unlikely, had anybody listened to him. He didn’t exactly hide the fact the cage wasn’t meant for any of the vampires, even if it did end up housing one.)-------------

Summary
That first calendar was both the reason she kept going and the bane of her existence in the circus. She marked off the days like it was her lifeline, at first. Awaiting the moment she would go back to the real world.
When it didn’t happen, she marked other things. Still counted the days, out of habit and just to keep track of it all, but she stopped counting towards the day she’d get to reconcile with her mother and instead started counting towards holidays to spend with the others, towards birthdays and anniversaries.(Part of a bigger fic, but can be read as a stand alone)

The mirror was lying. It showed a kind, smiling dolly. It showed soft fabric cheeks and a button eye the color of the dark sea. It showed a pretty feminine dress and a cute bow. It showed who ‘Ragatha’ was supposed to be. It didn’t show the person behind the avatar. Just the idea of a perfect doll to be everyone’s best friend.
She could never live up to that standard. -

Because that’s what it was - a wedding. And, as much as she wouldn’t ever suspect Caine of being aware of their relationships enough to really figure out romantic bonds in the group, apparently, he did catch onto something, because in the roles of the bride and groom were Pomni and Jax.
(An adventure has Pomni and Jax getting married. Ragatha is not doing good with that.)

Scott has always been destined to rule over Rivendell with a queen at his side. Pearl has always been destined to rule over the Gilded Helianthia with a king at her side.
What happens when they're arranged to marry each other while secretly loving someone else. What if these others are their knights and what if these knights are the same gender as they are?
Well, they'll just have to change their fate. Even if it has to happen in secret.

He liked most of Gem and the Scott’s team. Gem, the lead singer and guitarist, was nice enough, as was her girlfriend Pearl. Impulse, the drummer, had even given him a few professional tips (he had gone to proper lessons whereas Joel had taught himself). There was one person, however, that he wasn’t the biggest fan of.

"Good afternoon, Joel. Do you mind if I join?"
It's Scott Major, dressed in an ugly red jacket a size too big for him and some equally horrendous leggings, ripped in rather unfortunate places. Joel doesn't have it in him to question where this guy has found all that ill-fitting clothes from, not when he's obviously desperate enough to sit down somewhere (kind of) safe that he's speaking to his old workplace rival of all people.
Ugh.
In a moment of generosity that surprises both himself and Scott, he nods at the kind-of-familiar face. Even to his own ears, his voice sounds awkward, almost as if he hasn't been using it since his final attempt to call Lizzie failed.
He hasn't. Not much point talking to himself when there's nothing worth narrating happening in the area.
"Eh, sure, whatever. Just don't bother me when I'm doing my thing."
