Summary
Eijun never got invited to Seido, no, instead he moved north with his mother when his parents divorced. He never thought his submissive nature would be a problem.
His mother had always told him to stay true to himself and people would like him, no matter what.
That had been a lie.
One conversation, innocent and open, had turned his world upside down in a day. It started small after that, then kept building until he couldn't stand it anymore, and neither could his mother.It took months to get him transfered from that school to another, months to get him out. Months of his mother tugging at every connection she had to find one way out.
And it ended with him moving away from his mother in the end, to Seido in Tokyo and a dorm. A private school of all things.Now Eijun has to decide if he want's to try this thing called trust again, or if he should just try and stay low and out of the way. As long as he's allowed to play baseball, he's okay.

"Miyuki Kazuya! Get ready to be amazed!" Sawamura beams at him from across the mound. He's gotten taller, his shoulders broader, jawline more pronounced, but he was still the same Sawamura who called him with his full name most of the time, who smiled as brightly as the summer sun, whose eyes shined gold whenever he was on the mound.
I already am, Miyuki thinks as he steps into the batter's box with an excited grin. It's been years since he'd last seen Sawamura's pitches in the batter's box, and even longer as a catcher. His hands ache, that familiar itch of wanting to catch for Sawamura Eijun returns to him in full force.
"Well then, show me what you've got, star pitcher."
or: miyuki kazuya finds out that when life throws you a curveball in the form of a 175 cm pitcher with bright golden eyes, a warm smile, and pitches that make kazuya's blood thrum in excitement, he realizes all he can do is catch him on his mitt and hope to keep him there forever.

When Kazuya, fresh out of high school, is asked by some reporter about his predictions on what his life would revolve around in his thirties; he tries his best not to roll his eyes, and answers in a totally-non-sarcastic manner: "You are not going to believe this, but eight letters; starts with a B and ends with an L."
True to his name, his life indeed revolves around baseball in his thirties, although not without the addition of an unpredictable set of other things: Trials and tribulations brought about by a premature, failed marriage in his twenties, the existential crises following his rashly-made decisions, and a particular kid named Ayame: His beloved daughter.
Kazuya has learned his lesson; he will never underestimate the forces of the universe again, but surely his life won't get any crazier than this.
But as always, the forces of the universe (his daughter in particular), have other plans in store for him.
"This is Sawamura Eijun, my English tutor!" Ayame beamed.
"Yup, that's me!" Sawamura proclaimed.

Summary
Eijun isn’t feeling like himself. Ever since he hit Shirakawa’s helmet in the match against Inashiro, his mental health has just kept spiraling down. Something isn’t right, and he can’t figure out what. His own mind and thoughts are like an enemy, the team feel far away and the support is nowhere to be seen.
During practice one day, he can’t keep up with his panicked thoughts and collapses.
It’s not only the yips fighting him, it’s also his, apparently, second nature. He can’t tell the team, can’t be of any bigger burden than he already is.The worst part is that he needs help, and he don’t feel like he can ask anyone for it, or trust in the kindness that is shown.
