The fire was supposed to be The End, but it turned out to be just the beginning. Henry and Elizabeth both must face their pasts and redeem themselves. Both have done horrible things, and both have reasons. Both have moral issues. And both can’t rest until it’s all done.

A fic centered around a lot of the aspects of characters like Elizabeth Afton and Henry that in my opinion are often overlooked, and gives both of these underrated and misunderstood characters what I believe to be a deserved redemption arc, as well as adding some more complexities to already existing characters that were left up to interpretation, like Aunt Jen and the Crying Child!AKA

Crowley had pictured asking Aziraphale to move in together many times over the centuries. He had talked through in his head how he would persuade the angel, plotting out clever arguments and tempting offers. He had imagined so many aspects of their eventual relationship before they actually got together. But, as ever, when the conversation actually happened, it did not go as Crowley had meticulously planned. It wasn't smooth at all.- Language:
