Lan Huan stalked closer until the other man was pressured to take a step back, then another, and another, until his back met the wall. When Jiang Cheng attempted to sidestep him, Lan Huan simply shoved him back in place with a single hand against his chest, stepping into his space and eliminating the last bit of distance between them.
“If I’m not mistaken,” Lan Huan murmured, amusement coloring his voice saccharine, “I think you like this, Wanyin.”

The last thing Jiang Cheng remembers is falling asleep next to his husband after a long joint night hunt together with several Jiang and Lan sect disciples. A bleary glance around tells him that he's still in their bed and his husband is still next to him, but something's different.
“Wanyin.” His name spoken in a familiar, dulcet, surprisingly close voice comes from somewhere behind him.
Breaking the kiss, he looks over his shoulder. Standing there at the foot of the bed, a calm smile gracing elegant features, is… Lan Xichen?
“What?” Jiang Cheng says dumbly.
