If she had just a drop more motivation in her body, Éponine would have been incensed by the finality with which Combeferre spoke; she was just so done with men telling her how the world works when they themselves have absolutely no clue. But he was a good person who meant nothing by it and, in hindsight, she could concede that he’d been nothing but nice to her all night and it wasn’t his fault that everything was pushing her — bit by bit — closer to the edge.
Yeah, it hadn’t been a great week.
Fuck it. It had been a shit year. The fact that it was only April be damned, she thought to herself as she collapsed back into the sofa with a resigned sigh.

Enjolras interprets his therapist's advice about letting loose once in a while as he should experiment with getting drunk. Alone, of course, because he's embarrassed about it. Yeah, it's not his greatest plan. Especially considering he has no real way to gauge his tolerance beyond having been (almost obsessively) watching Grantaire since an abrupt realisation of his feelings for the man. Before he knows it, he ends up at a local tattoo parlour demanding a piece of his art on his skin forever.
