What starts as shameless flirting quickly turns into something hotter than the shower ever could: steam, desperate hands, and months of pent up want finally boiling over against the bathroom tiles.

The bunker is too quiet, and Dean Winchester is crawling out of his skin. Six miles on the treadmill, a bruised set of knuckles on the heavy bag, a couple glasses of whiskey, none of it is enough to burn off the static in his head or the way his body won’t settle.
Then Cas walks into the gym barefoot, rolls his sleeves up, and offers Dean a simple solution:
“You need to hit something. I can take it.”
What starts as late night “training” turns into Cas pinning Dean to the mats again and again, calm and steady while Dean’s body betrays him in every possible way. Avoidance doesn’t help. Whiskey doesn’t help. Showers definitely don’t help.
Cas noticing absolutely everything, and very quietly wanting it too?
Yeah.
That might actually do the trick.Sparring, yielding, and learning there are much better ways to work off tension than running in circles.

Summary
Twelve days on the road leaves Dean wound tight, lonely, and half out of his mind. The hunt is easy; the silence after is not. With no Sam beside him and no Cas to patch him up, he ends up alone in a shitty Nebraska motel with too many memories and too much need.
Cas’s texts don’t help.
The last one “I miss you, Dean” nearly breaks him.
Dean tries to be good. He really does. Forty three minutes of pretending he isn’t hard for the one person he’s not supposed to want. Then he gives in.
And the moment Dean whispers Cas’s name, Heaven answers.
What begins as Dean’s desperate, lonely night turns into something far more dangerous, tender, filthy, and impossible to ignore. Cas is done pretending. Dean can’t hide anymore. And nothing between them will ever be the same after this.

Cas moved forward, a thoughtful look graced his features and he stood in front of Dean, intoxicatingly close, but not close enough for Dean to find a reason to take a step back. The storm raged inside him, every inch of him begged to run his mouth along his body, to leave hot trails fire on his skin. But Dean was afraid to burn them both, he shied away from the fire because he was afraid of the searing heat.
Cas seemed to notice Dean’s shifting feet and the flash of desperation before glancing away, tugging at his collar to redirect the heat. He tilted his head again, eyes raking up and down Dean’s body, making him feel utterly naked.
“Do you need personal space?” Cas breathed, but seemed unwilling to move back. Infact, their proximity was like a magnet, drawing each other in until there was no space left between them.
“Don't give me space,” Dean gasped, all rational thoughts he once had seemed irrelevant now. “Space is the last thing I need from you.” -

“Sam’s dead.” Dean's voice breaks on it. He waits for Castiel to react while grief climbs his throat like a fist. Nothing. He swallows it down, bitter and slow. “Billie won’t touch it.”
Castiel could answer a hundred ways. Could rebuke him for the years of silence. Could remind him of the day he stood before them in that rickety warehouse, God-fresh and burning, and told them to crawl or be crushed. Remind him of how they’d never once attempted to repent. Instead he leans forward slightly, elbows braced on his knees, power pooling around him like heat off asphalt.
He studies Dean’s face, and when he speaks his voice is low, no question in it. “You came to me.”
