Summary
It's easier to write headcanons and ramble rather then write full ass fanfiction. I've been busy, depressed, married now, and in a writers block. I recently rewatched Encanto because I have a babysitting job and remembered I love the rat man. Oh and the music. Oh and the outfits. Oh and the message. I love the movie. I'm writing random bullshit cause I can and hopefully it gets me to continue my other fanfic works.
Oh and for full transparency, while I try holding myself to the standard of doing all the characters in the template, sometimes I just don't want to or I don't feel that it's appropriate. Characters like Dolores, Agustin, and Felix were very shorted on backstory and character traits, so it is a bit harder to write for them. Meanwhile, Mirabel and Bruno are fully explained or done so enough (also my favorites). So, I may skip some characters for certain reasons for some chapters.

Summary
Bruno is dropped in the river as Alma escapes the soldiers who kill Pedro. When the soldier's find the half drowned baby in the water, they take it and put it into the hands of a orphanage. Bruno finds himself on the street once more when the orphanage is shut down and is picked up by a group of traveling fortune tellers.
Three days before Bruno turns fifty, him and his group are ambushed on the rivers edge. After all but one of his Tías die his last Tía sacrifices herself to push him into the river. Carrying him away from the fighting, sending one last prayer into the world for him.
