I love my job as the Chief Royal Librarian. I have unrestricted access to the finest collection of books in the kingdom and the work isn’t all that hard. I even get to exercise my meagre magic skills every now and then when dealing with some of the more exotic books in the Royal Library.
The only downside? Having to see that guy on a regular basis. Why is he always hanging around? Since he’s the Royal High Mage, doesn’t he have better things to do than harass me?

The king’s masquerade ball is all anybody is talking about. Though I spend most of my time in the library, I hear all about it from the aristocrats who need to research spells for their costumes.
It’s rare to see the library this crowded. The young aristocrats are spread out in small groups, taking notes as we’ve put a temporary ban on borrowing out the non-fiction illusion magic books. Too many people need them.
“Are you going to the ball, Miss Librarian?”
I’ve been asked this question many times by many people. It usually doesn’t annoy me. This time is an exception.

Summary
An original science fiction, omegaverse series that will focus on M/M relationships.
Altair is a small world orbited by four moons which govern the mating cycles of its dominant species. Split into three designations—alpha, beta and omega—Altair has long struggled with issues of discrimination and exploitation. With an alpha prince in line to inherit the throne, it looks as if Altair is entering an age of peace and stability. But a galactic alliance's offer of membership threatens to create conflict.
As an alpha, it’s Crown Prince Theresa’s duty to protect his three younger omega brothers, but his time is taken up by his royal duties, leaving the younger princes vulnerable. Prince Kassidy is betrayed by someone he trusts, Prince Lucian is caught in an accidental mind-merge with a visiting alien, and the secretive, defiant Prince Rowan is more involved in Altair’s political problems than anyone realises. Whenever Leorio visited the Hunter Guild, he always made a beeline for the newest (and, in his expert opinion, prettiest) receptionist there. Leorio would even wait in line if he had to, smiling and waving off the offers of the other receptionists who were momentarily free. They would return his smile knowingly, then turn those smiles onto the object of Leorio’s admiration.
