Summary
This is a sequel to my fic The Mountains where Bakugou and Kirishima meet when Bakugou gets stranded in a snow storm while in labor. I thought the last one was a bit heavy but it hardly holds a candle to this one. If this ain't your cup of tea, just pretend it doesn't even exist.

I'm not really sure what this is, but it is something. There's no base in a specific religion and I don't know. I made up some lore but left a lot open ended because I'm not trying to build a whole new world here, just having some fun.

Kirishima takes a breath. He realizes, suddenly, that he’d stopped altogether, and gulps in the next several inhales as he hits the streets at a hurried pace. The babble keeps up, the voices change, but no one is talking. He can hear them like they’re speaking directly into his ears, but the lips that move don’t match up with the words.
It hits him: He’s not hearing their voices, then. A sick feeling curls in his guts.

The raucous laughter at the counter died instantly as the stranger froze mid-motion, his mug remaining hovering an inch above the wood while the entire room seemed to lose its collective breath.
Two massive vivid crimson eyes, reflective like polished gemstones, turned to fix Katsuki with an intensity that should have been terrifying, but the silence lasted for only a moment before the creature's lips split into a wide grin that revealed rows of sharp, triangular teeth.
