Getting an interview from the renowned esports player, "Gray", or Yeon Sieun in real life is a rare occasion. His life is pretty private ever since his rookie days that you won't even find a single ounce of hint from his gaming livestreams or brief after-game interviews regarding his personal life. What people usually know are rumors, or whatever comes out of Geum Seongje and Jin Taeoh’s mouth (which are usually not proven true).
After that 2020 one-on-one game livestream with his ex-teammate Geum Seongje, fans started to speculate about the identity of his partner. All because he smiled about something he said.
His side confirmed only one thing: he was indeed in a relationship. They're not like K-pop idols, who need to protect their image and such. But the fans are relentless, scrutinizing every single post and Instagram story of, not just him, but also his teammates.
Until they started connecting the puzzle, piece by piece.
