He’s more than willing to sacrifice his status, wealth, and frankly his dignity if it means preserving his sorry life. He’ll scheme, plot, and otherwise channel his inner evil advisor Grima Wormtongue style – missing eyebrows, forked tongue and all – if it means survival.
But if all else fails, and the alternatives are a quick death by his own hand or a long, torturous one at Luo Binghe’s, the answer is pretty damn obvious.
