    Mega-Man and his team face a new challenge when Xander Payne escapes from custody and joins forces with Dr. Doppler, a mad scientist who plans to use a special mutagen to take over the world. Along for the ride are Chill and a small group of criminals acting as dimwitted henchmen who provide plenty of muscle. Luckily, the robotic hero has other allies in Maylu Sakurai, Chaud Blaze and newest addition to the group Lan Hikari, a tech savy young police officer. As they prepare for battle, the mysterious Isoc also emerges to pose an even greater threat to the planet.

    When Sari Sumdac walked into her father's office on Tuesday, May 11, 20XX, she was expecting him to be passed out, or otherwise struggling against the needs of his body, such as food and rest.
    What she did not expect to find was her father frantically scurrying about the lab, trying to organize his projects.
    This immediately set off sirens in Sari's head. Her father was never organized for anything.
    "Um . . . Dad? Are you okay?"
    Isaac Sumdac practically ran up to his daughter. "It's my old friend," he said beaming, "Dr. Thomas Light is headed to Detroit!"

    Humans are irrational, emotionally-driven creatures. That didn't stop the aspiring roboticist, Thomas Xavier Light, from giving birth to the concept of robots with humanlike independent thought with his partner, Albert W. Wily.

    Auto was a breakthrough success, although he was not without his eccentricities and somewhat childlike mannerisms. That gave Light an idea: what if the robots "aged" before activation? That, in turn, gave him the idea to raise a robot from "birth" as a basis to create a sped-up process for "aging" his A.I. to a desired length.

    Thus, DLN-000 was born. A robot named Blues, who would come to play a huge role in this long, long story.

    Rock, having a strong sense of justice, could not stand by and watch as his family was used to wreak havoc across Mega City, and volunteered himself to become a fighting robot.

    Thus, Mega Man was born.
