“What do you mean?” Eddie asks carefully. Too carefully, really–Buck should have noticed it.
“I mean, I’m gonna start looking for another place, but you’ll have everything you need in the meantime, and to be honest, I haven’t really touched Chris’ room, so it’s exactly how you left it, although pretty sparse…” Buck trails off with a dry chuckle.
His stomach drops as Eddie’s face morphs into a sorrow that rivals the funeral itself.
“Buck, I–” He steps forward, and even though everything inside Buck wants to fall into his arms, he steps back jerkily. “I’m here…” A pause. “I’m here right now.”

“It’s just not fair!” Eddie mutters. He wipes at his face, trying his best to hide it from Buck, but the hiccup in his voice gives everything away. Buck chuckles and turns to face Eddie, rubbing his fingers over the runaway tears on Eddie’s neck.
“It’s not funny, Buck!” Eddie pushes at his boyfriend’s shoulder, only earning another small laugh.
“Billy’s not dead, Eddie. There’s no way they would be that stupid."

It takes so long for Minho to pick up that Jisung almost wonders if he’ll pick up at all. He’s vaguely aware that he’s probably asleep, that Jisung is probably annoying him, but the part of him that usually cares about things like that has been effectively silenced.
“Um… Jisung?” Minho’s voice finally crackles through the phone, low with sleep.
“Would you kiss me if I asked you to?” Jisung asks casually.
There’s a pause on the other line. Then - “What?”
Jisung giggles drunkenly, and repeats himself. “I asked if you would kiss me.”

Summary
Jimin’s life is a well-oiled machine, run on a diet of high-functioning anxiety. He’s the type who rehearses his order five times before reaching the counter, packs ten pairs of socks for a four-day trip (“just in case”), and abandons new hobbies the instant he’s not a master at them in ten minutes. Also, his brain is Doctor Strange looking at 14 million different alternate realities for every little interaction with people and in all of them a slight change in a someone’s tone means they absolutely hate him and want him dead.
But he is making it. He even spent days rehearsing a five slide PowerPoint. He's got it.
Until his boss, Namjoon, drops a bomb on his existence: a new teammate invading his space who is the complete opposite of him.
(Or: The new guy messes up Jimin’s whole routine, and Hoseok’s definitely reading A/B/O webtoons in secret)
