Graduation was 6 hours ago and Dustin is still riding the absolute high of all of his friends being there to witness his destruction of that square principal Higgins.
Before they close out their night Steve and Robin show up and take them out to shoot fireworks off the top of the WSQK.
I can’t imagine Steve and Robin separate even if they are canonically so I changed Steve’s ending a tad. Being a “babysitter” it makes more sense to me that he’d work with elementary schoolers and not High Schoolers.

He begins singing along to the song playing with a goofy smile plastered on his face, and his hand pressed to his heart like he’s pouring his soul into the performance. Max and Dustin both break out into a fit of laughter. Dustin lightly shoves Lucas and tells him, “Okay, okay I’m sold! Now quit singing before I change my mind.”
After that, the air feels lighter, there’s a connection, like finally finding out where to connect the puzzle piece you once thought went nowhere. Except these pieces have fit together before, which makes it all the more satisfying when you put them back where they belong.

It'd only been 2 weeks since the upside down came crashing, crushing, tearing through the right side up. If life was a tight rope, a tightrope walker, and a flea? Then let's say the walker fucking died, the flea can't tell upside from down, and the rope snapped, in four places. It was a shit show; And Dustin was still stuck on the fact that he was alive, and Eddie wasn't. For all the brains in his head...he just couldn't really understand it.
This isn't a prediction for season 5! Just some brainrot I have. Focused on Dustin and his relationships with everyone, especially Steve. The Gang comes up with an idea to take down Vecna. Shifting POVs. Everyone is going through it and I want to touch on a little bit of all of it.
