It's disturbing.
He doesn't like Starscream. Nobody likes Starscream. But Optimus doesn't enjoy seeing anyone pass away; it's the thing that constantly makes him hesitate to continue the war. If he were fighting for a lesser cause, he would have surrendered to end it and, in the process, end the continuous loss of life the fight cost.

Hollander is striding toward his kitchen, looking over his shoulder at Ilya like he’s getting tired of the joke. “Very funny. I was in Montreal yesterday, Rozanov.”
“Hollander.” Ilya goes to stand in front of him. Hollander’s eyes flicker up and down his body the way that Ilya usually craves, but is rather unwelcome right now. “Today is Thursday. Game is today. Yesterday, you came to my house. We ate tuna melts, watched Buffalo game. Then, you left.”
“Rozanov, it’s Wednesday morning. And I’ve never been to your house before.”
“Hollander…”
“Look at your phone if you don’t believe me.”
Ilya snorts like a bull and pulls his phone out of his pocket, swipes down on the screen to look at the date.

The problem is — he tries to explain through gasped breaths after Hayden basically knocks down his door, shouting that they’re going to miss their flight — the thing is, Shane’s already woken up on November 16th. She'd grappled with the idea of if she could bring herself to forgive a Pyro or Owen that had not killed Avid. A few loops later Shelby was no closer to an answer and had added Martyn, Pearl, and Cleo to the list. Then Ren and Sausage, then Apo and Abolish. Doctor Legundo. Each and every one betrayed or wronged her in one of the many loops. They struggled to separate the feelings in their head towards all these different versions who they'd never get closure from and the person in front of her in that moment.
