“Come here, kid.” One of Robby’s hands catches Dennis’s and lands against his sternum, trapping his arm against his chest, while the other stays in his hair, fingers winding into damp curls. Dennis’s attention is everywhere and panicked. He catches a flash of Perlah readying the needle and a desperate sound punches out of him.
“Nope, don’t look at that,” Robby says, using the hand in his hair to force his head back, angling his vision away from the commotion and up towards him. Dennis’s eyes lock onto his, pupils blown wide. “Look at me. Yep, good. I’m right here. You’re doing so good, honey. Just keep those eyes on me.”
The IV tourniquet snaps into place and panic flashes anew in Dennis’s face. ”Robby—”
“I know. It’s just Dana and Perlah. We’re just pushing some fluids, no more drugs. You’re safe.” Out of the corner of his eye, Robby can see Perlah speeding through what has to be the fastest IV placement of her career, Dana keeping her grip on Dennis’s hand to stop him from jerking away. Dana shoots him a glance of warning and Robby tightens his hold. “Okay, quick poke now. Still just us. Deep breath, Dennis. I've got you."

About how the world would brighten up a little bit when Sonic caught a glimpse of those familiar black spines. About how Sonic has been dreaming about his eyes, his smile. Sonic has been dreaming about them.
No, this was anything but a joke to Sonic. This was serious.

Welcome!
This will be a series of one shots and multi chapters of reader insert stories. There will be no set timeline so these will be alternate universe stories. I suggest reading this before getting too deep into the stories for some important details.
You are a young woman about 20 years old with black hair and brown eyes. You’ve been held captive by the Briarwoods your whole life. Born as Silas’ daughter, you’ve known nothing but fear, pain and suffering. Until Vox Machina. Together, you go on a journey of self discovery, finding your place in the world, make some friends, and learning about the world around you.
Most of these will be one shots. I will make a note of any connecting stories and recommend reading them when needed. And will probably make a new collection of the connecting ones at a later time.
Oh and will be a Grog/reader eventually because this guy needs someone and I’m giving it to him!

Alex didn’t say anything for several long moments after he told her. She just looked at him, head tilted slightly and sharp, heterochromatic eyes studying him carefully. Magnus’s heart pounded in his chest as he waited. With each passing second, he wanted more and more to just go throw himself off the highest branches of Yggdrasil.
Finally she moved, taking the garrote out of her pocket and unraveling it. The wire between the two wooden dowels glinted in the light. “I’m not trying to kinkshame you, Maggie, but this… this is a weapon,” Alex said slowly.
“I know.” Magnus swallowed. He didn’t know why, but that somehow made it more appealing. He didn’t get this way with every sword or axe that crossed his path. Just with this weapon, specifically in Alex’s hands.

“I know.” A shiver raced down his spine as he remembered it, the feeling not entirely pleasurable this time; he really did not want to get decapitated again. But everything just before that? When Grian's name somehow ends up as a 'banned' word in the Hermicraft server, he needs to temporarily use another PlayerName while Xisuma works to fix it.
He tries to stay optimistic about the situation, but it doesn't take long for his new name to start getting to him.
He felt it the moment Xisuma put the command though. His body was able to relax again, now that the World was no longer fighting him. He could do this. He tried to smile at the Admin, happy that they at least had a semi-workable fix for now.
Xisuma let out a breath filled with relief. He placed a hand on the other's shoulder. "Glad we've got that all figured out then, Taurtis."
Grian wanted to cry.
