Summary
Reader is a broke, recently graduated, individual who is down on their luck. Struggling with the daily grind and responsibilities she finds herself turning to her comfort characters in the form of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, and falls asleep listening to the familiar tales. Upon waking up she begins to notice that things are quite different from when she fell asleep. After an unfortunate encounter, the reader finds herself in the Avengers tower meeting her heroes. However the times seem to be different. It’s actually right after the battle of New York instead of the present day. Does this mean that she can change some fates? Red looked incredibly confused but spoke gently, having to force it out with Frank’s hand on his throat. “It’s okay. You’re safe. We’re at home. You just had a bad hit to the head last night. Just-”
Frank cut him off by adding more pressure with his hand and causing him to gasp. “What the fuck do you mean home? And we, what we? Where the fuck am I?”
Red didn’t speak for a moment, like he was trying to think of how to word it and understand what was happening. He croaked out the words, trying to bring in air in between syllables. “Frank…you and I live here. Have for like…three years.”

Matt and Frank have been together for a long time, and despite the occasional having to save the city from mass destruction, their lives are pretty good and happy. But after a mission gone south, Frank forgets it all and their for once stable lives are flipped upside down. Frank is lost and Matt is alone, angst ensues
