Immediately post-Season 4, the gang are catching up and reuniting at Hopper's old cabin. Mike, who's been on the edge of a panic attack for the past few days, excuses himself to get some 'fresh air'- unbeknownst to anyone but Joyce, who still isn't fully up-to-date on the Vecna situation. After about 30 minutes, the group notices his absence and are immediately concerned. They can't find Mike anywhere in the surrounding area, but they find the exact thing they were dreading; a small gate.
Mike finds himself in the Upside-Down, but the circumstances are strange. Vecna is nowhere to be seen and the area around him is completely barren. It's an elaborate plot to torment Mike with his greatest fears; forcing him to relive his own worst memories with his family and friends by his side.
How much could one kid have to hide, anyways?

Ten years later, Mike publishes a novel made entirely of unsent letters written to an unnamed recipient dated between 1985 and 1999 and and it details the story of a small town boy's internalized homophobia, his repressed feelings for his best friend, his grief and guilt at never being able to tell his girlfriend the truth before she died and the regrets that plague him throughout the nineties as he watches his friends move on with their lives.
Ten years later, Will has moved on to an artist's life in NYC and has found a boyfriend who loves him. But then Mike publishes a novel, and of course, Will reads it.

On the twelve year anniversary of Tristan's disappearance, Tony and Pepper have made a routine of coping with the loss and Tony takes Morgan to his favorite mom and pop diner, only to find their waiter is a child. A child that peaks Tony's interest.Please enjoy reading! I love the lost Stark and reunited family trope and am pretty sure I have read it all so I just started writing my own. I do not plan to have anything too graphic in this fic but it will be angsty. Peter will deserve all the hugs and he will get them cause I hate sad endings. :)
