Summary
When Rocky wakes up after Adrian, he's relieved they're both alive, but immediately knows that something is off with Grace. He's having trouble breathing, sleeping a lot, and spiking fevers. As much as Grace wants to blame it on lung irritation from the ammonia in Rocky's atmosphere, Rocky knows he's downplaying it, and it's not going to work.
However, before he can actually do anything about it, the ship's power goes out. Taumoeba have gotten into the fuel and eaten all the astrophage, leaving them with no choice but to steal from the beetles.
Which are on the outside of the ship.
Which means two EVAs and a lot of lab work for Grace, all while his condition declines from what's quickly turning into a serious health problem. All Rocky can do is make sure he has what he needs and try to take care of him as best he can from afar, hoping they can get to safety before Grace's health is too fragile to recover.Bookmarked by nysa

Obviously investigation had to happen. Clark might seem like an all-American sweetheart of a guy, and Superman might seem to have a moral code, but Lois was very much in the “absolute power corrupts absolutely” camp of thought, and she was—dubious. If he was really so powerful, what was he doing for himself? What were his vices? How did he indulge? Nobody seemed to know, and that turned her from dubious to highly suspicious.

Regardless, Hawkeye finds himself in one of the many large demonstrations in San Francisco when police storm in to break it up. He never meant it to be a tipping point in his life.
