There were no limits to the things Damian would do to be his father’s son. No matter what he must change about himself, no matter how much he had to sacrifice, none of it mattered if it meant advancing towards that one goal.
Besides, why should he care about anything else but how to fit in? If he had to cut away extraneous things, so be it. If they could be so easily discarded in the first place, they were never that important to begin with.
