Lu Guang’s life was divided into ‘Before’ and ‘After’.
Before the zombie apocalypse, he was just a loner nerd who couldn’t get a hot guy to notice him to save his life.
After the zombie apocalypse, he was still a loner nerd, but this time with a hot guy saving his life.

He considered it as he was walking towards their meetspot. He should not only photograph Lu Guang, he should totally try drawing him, too. Paper, graphite, pen, acrylics, oilpaints, none of it worked underwater. Lu Guang had probably never seen a drawing or painting before. Maybe he could pick up some spraypaint and try his hand at graffitiing the inside of his cave. Or, he supposed he could just do that with regular paints…maybe a paint that stuck on stone? Water resistant? Oh my god, he should make a fresco—
Xiaoshi was cut off in his thoughts when he heard a melody coming from in front of him. He checked his phone, which showed three-past two. But when he looked up again, Lu Guang was in front of him. Another soft melody.[One year ago, Xiaoshi nearly drowned at sea, gaining a lifelong lung injury in the incident. In the present, he still wants to see the ocean for himself. A certain someone he meets who lives on the seafloor might allow him to pursue those dreams.]

Lu Guang's definitely agreeing to that when he sees Cheng Xiaoshi wearing a suit to the party. But he's also definitely not the only one who thinks he looks good, and he doesn't like it.(idk about the summary, i might change it later...)

Summary
After winning a game of rock-paper-scissors against his annoying co-worker, Lu Guang gets to live in this abandoned photo studio for seven days straight before it gets demolished. Usually, it is not such a pain. He spends most of his time working anyway, rather than seven days, might as well make it seven nights instead. Again, usually there is no actual serious problem, but this time, there is a ghost haunting the studio.
And this ghost appears to truly hate the idea of spending seven nights with a living human being ...

It made him upset, honestly. He didn’t want to be mad with the other, and he knew better than to doubt Xiaoshi, but in that moment he’d wanted to shout ‘why won’t you listen!’, to grab the other and watch his face and ask ‘why won’t you just trust me’.
As Lu Guang glanced over Cheng Xiaoshi’s waiting form, he continued to hold his tongue, even as his thoughts continued to swirl.
Why can’t you be this good when it matters?

After yet another unscripted risk during a dive, Lu Guang's tensions are high worrying over his submissive. Impulsively, he pulls them into a scene, to prove to himself that he can protect Xiaoshi, and to give Xiaoshi a chance to remind them both of his deep trust in his dom. (more details in notes)
