“Electro Web!”
She looked up to see a massive web of electric sparks and power fly up and block every attack. Liko felt herself coughing as the smoke hit her lungs, lifting up her jacket to cover her mouth.
‘Where did that come from?’
She exchanged a glance with Roy who mirrored her shocked and bewildered expression. Liko gaped as a boy stepped out of the smoke with an outstretched hand. Next to him, a Pikachu who had presumably protected them with a determined look in its eyes.

Mike’s eyes flicked towards Will, hope blooming behind them.
“You think.. We can go there?”
Will nodded slowly, “Tomorrow night. Just us.”
Mike shivered, but it surely wasn’t from the cold. For the first time in what felt like months he felt alert, aware, and strangely alive.
Maybe he could find the answers he was looking for in that church. Or maybe he was falling right into Vecna’s hands. He couldn’t bring himself to care much.

Mike was giving the small smile that always made Will crumbled, the one saying I’m your best friend, I understand you, it’s going to be ok and Will’s thoughts were spiraling right now; all the ones he’s ever had for the past few years, thinking about the things he liked, loved, being the opposite of what, or who he should love.
“What if you hate me?”
“I could never hate you, Will.”
Or I just imagined Mike and Will kissing (what a surprise) in the Upside Down and then I told myself: hey why not make it flickergate and here we go

Mike was frozen mid–chew, a piece of pasta hanging stupidly from his fork. His eyes were wide, fixed on Will’s chest.

The moment stretched like elastic. Mike blinked once. Twice. Then the blush hit - an immediate, fierce red crawling up his neck to the tips of his ears.
“Oh,” he croaked, voice cracking.
Will blinked. “Oh?”
“That’s, um, that’s…” Mike swallowed hard. “That’s my hoodie.”
Will felt heat rush to his own face. “Uh. Yeah. Sorry. I… I forgot to return it. I’ll give it back later.”
“No!” Mike squeaked, far too loudly. He cleared his throat violently. “I mean, you don’t have to. I’m not, like, I don’t need it. You can, um. Keep it. If you want.”
