    So far, all forms of therapy had been unsuccessful. The Orb of Healing Light had tried to coax Bill into opening up about his childhood, his parents and the ‘2nd-Dimension Incident’, but he had refused to speak about anything deeper than his favourite food. Especially in group therapy, where Cipher either remained silent or continuously disrupted the other patients in the session. He was truly the most challenging patient they had the pleasure of dealing with so far.

    Yet, a singular name continued to be mentioned within therapy sessions or in passing conversation. Often Bill cursed his name, but he was undeniably attached to this mortal, appearing to reminisce upon past chess games or torture. One thing was for certain, however. The triangle harboured an attachment to Stanford Pines.

    This was something that The Orb felt that they could work with.

    Or: A rather long Bill Cipher redemption fic that begins with him inside the Theraprism and ends up with him living with the Pines family.

    Gadreel was not/is not/will never be good at silence. Meanwhile, a happy little principality is having a tickety-boo time. Change is afoot, but how can Heaven change? Half of Heaven goes on strike. Gadreel gets depressed. God doesn’t seem to notice anything wrong. Lucifer tries to make Her notice.

    Aziraphale holds a door, and accidentally makes a flaming sword. Gadreel does not fight in the long night that will be known as The War. Aziraphale becomes a soldier. Because somebody has to. Gadreel becomes Crawly, Satan’s little pet snake; but how much of that is who he is, and how much is who he pretends to be? How long until he can no longer tell the difference, himself? The final pieces are placed. The Human Project goes live. Time begins.

A punishment from the seven, her uncle used to mutter in the privacy of their chambers. Alicent had always ignored such voices, too lost in her friendship with the Princess and the idea that such matters were of no concern to her given her station. But now that she was the Queen, the same thoughts plagued her mind since Rhaenyra announced she was with child.
    And so Alicent prayed to seven to either lead Rhaenyra to the proper path so that she would come to her senses and step down from the position of heir herself, or she would succumb to the same disease as her mother, and die trying to give birth to an heir. It was for the best of everyone, removing any threats to her children and the kingdom.
    This was why she was surprised to hear the news of Rhaenyra giving birth to twins without experiencing the same problems as her mother.

    Obi-Wan recognized the sound of a clone’s voice, though there was something distinct about most of them. Fox sounded more similar to Cody and Wolffe than their troopers did, which fit with him being a commander. That meant this was unlikely to be a trick.

But is the danger coming from outside the city, or from within?

    Two young Jacobins — one a law student trying to control a collapsing situation, the other a multilingual scribe who slips between factions — are forced into a vicious choice: stay with their section as the city arms itself, or break away toward the Legislative Assembly where words may matter as much as pikes and muskets. A decision made quickly and without consent will scatter them in different directions before dawn and leaves something fractured in its wake.

    Now the city is arming itself to the sound of rising drums, and blood will be spilled before the sun sets for another day.

      The next news article that comes out identifies Bruce as a man-bat.

      He sighs and covers his face, hoping that when the League comes to kill him in the night, it won’t be because some stupid reporter mistook him for a man-bat.

      Dick understands the severity of the situation and very literally sticks his tongue out at it. He also very kindly designs a bat logo and tapes it to the body armor while Bruce naps around noon. When Bruce wakes, he sighs, cuts out the logo, makes a stencil out of it, and paints it on the armor’s chest plate obediently.

      By the time the week is out, their names on local media are officially Batman and The Terrible Traffic Light.
